A distinctive feature of software development for embedded systems is the limited available memory. Using C++ considerably increases the development speed but worsens the transparency of memory management and non-functional characteristics of the code. These side effects often lead to lower consumer qualities of the product, deterioration of its operation stability or even impossibility to implement the project on a given platform.
In the process of developing the SIES Core project, our team encountered all of these side effects, which required deep and long research, the results of which I will share with the audience.
