Teaching programming from the first year of university at the department, which should provide knowledge and skills for understanding someone else's code in search of vulnerabilities, sets the teacher the task: where to start and in what programming language? It should be taken into account that it was C++ that was chosen as the compulsory language for teaching in this specialty. But there are no more disciplines where it would be possible to tell the basics of algorithmization. How to distribute topics for study? What technologies should be mentioned? How much should students be "forced" to write "good" code? What is "good" code? Let's discuss this in the evening, on the first day of the C++ Russia 2023 conference.
