Dave Abrahams

Dave Abrahams is a specialist in programming language and library design. He is an original designer of the Swift programming language and the architect of its standard library, a founding member of Boost.org, a former longstanding member of the ISO C++ standardization committee, and co-author of a book in Bjarne Stroustrup's "C++ In Depth" series. He is currently a principal scientist at Adobe, where, with Sean Parent, he is responsible for the Software Technology Lab's mission to elevate the practice of programming through education, tools, and research.
